Historias de campamentos

There are almost 700 camps in Chile and more than 40 thousand Chilean and immigrant families living in these conditions.

Historias de campamentos is a portrait formed from images and stories that seek to represent the spirit, the struggle, the essence, and the interculturality lived in these communities, specifically in the Antofagasta Region, one of the most affected by this reality. The graphic proposal of this publication proposes art and design as a means to give face and voice to people and their stories made invisible by an unjust reality.

The book comprises five booklets, each printed on two-color bond paper. The front and back covers are made of corrugated cardboard. The binding is French-sewn and exposed on the spine.

Art direction, design and edition: Catalina Risso.
Photographs: Pablo Friedmann.
